The Director of the Abu Dhabi Police Anti-Narcotics Directorate, Colonel Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri explained that the details of the case are due to the arrest of the first suspect, in possession of 120 thousand narcotic pills, and through his investigations, new leads were revealed that led to the overthrow of the rest of the gang, through a tight security plan, which resulted in the arrest of the second accused, and in his possession An amount of narcotic pills is estimated at about 15 thousand pills, and it turns out that the accused is considered the second man in organizing the criminal network, and that he is the one who handles all sales and purchases.

 And successively the gang members fell into the hands of the control team, which led to the tightening of the security grip on all sides of the network, which turned out to be made up of a merchant, store, meadows and a large amount of narcotic pills who intended to smuggle part of it to a neighboring country.

He stressed that the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police attaches great importance to fighting drugs, pursuing their promoters, revealing their methods, drying the sources of these toxins, and preventing their damages by all security, preventive and educational means, noting that smuggling and promoting drugs is considered an organized crime, that crosses borders and is run by dangerous criminal gangs.

For its part, the Anti-Narcotics Directorate called on community members to cooperate with the police agencies and report any security information that contributes to the arrest of criminal drug gangs, through the phone security service 8002626.
