  The drilling depth of Nam Co was 153.44 meters, which is expected to rebuild the earth's continuous climate and environmental record for nearly 150,000 years. Previously, the maximum drilling depth of China's plateau lakes was 114.9 meters. The successful drilling of Nam Co core is the first time that China's lake core drilling has reached the level of 150 meters.
