The statement said that more than 30 warships of various types participated in the military exercise. Naval aviation, coastal defense forces, air defense forces and marines also participated in the exercise. In the first stage of the military exercise, the Russian warship completed its sailing and mine countermeasures missions, and then deployed in designated areas in the Baltic Sea.
The statement said that the participating troops are carrying out many subjects including air defense, attack, anti-submarine, and tactical landing. During the exercise, participating troops will also perform the task of launching anti-aircraft missiles and artillery.
The statement did not mention the start time and end time of the military exercise.
In August last year, the Russian Navy and Air Force held a large-scale military exercise "Shield of the Seas-2019" in the Baltic Sea.
