The Paris Bourse finished sharply up 1.93% on Monday, driven by favorable economic indicators in China, France and the United States, which offer hope for a recovery in the global economy, still entangled in the Covid-19 pandemic.

The CAC 40 index advanced 92.24 points to 4,875.93 points for this first session of the week. It had slipped 3.49% over the whole of last week, falling below 4,800 points on Friday, a first in two months.
