According to one of the girls' lawyers, Alexei Liptser, the selection of the jury will be conducted in an open manner.
"The jury will be selected on August 31 in the Moscow City Court," TASS quotes him.
The Moscow City Court extended the ban on certain actions to the two older sisters of Khachaturian and additionally banned them from participating in public events.
On August 10, the Butyrskiy District Court of Moscow will begin consideration of the merits of the case against the youngest of the Khachaturian sisters, who was declared insane at the time of her father's murder.
On July 27, 2018, the body of Mikhail Khachaturian with multiple stab wounds was found in a house on Altufevskoe highway.
In August 2018, his daughters pleaded guilty to the murder and gave detailed testimony in this case.
