When the corona pandemic broke out, the number of visitors to the swimming pool in Katrineholm dropped dramatically. The municipality's politicians therefore decided that the swimming pool's staff could make greater use of other parts of the business, and closed the gates on the fourth of April. But now, four months later, it reopens with a number of adjustments.

- We have closed two of three cabinets in the changing rooms, we have closed every other shower and we have removed half of all seating furniture. All to reduce the risk of the spread of infection, says My Wåhlander, supervisor at Duveholmshallen in Katrinehom.

Swimming school closed

The swimming school will not open yet, but the test swimming, where the children's swimming skills are mapped, will start.

Do you think that people will want to visit the swimming pool now when you open?

- I hope there is a craving. And that people at the same time keep their distance from each other, she says.
