Yasser Mahmoud Hashem, the assistant foreign minister for consular affairs and Egyptians abroad, announced that a final exit visa had been issued to ship the bodies of two Egyptian citizens killed in Saudi Arabia.

He pointed out that the bodies of the two citizens who had been killed by a Saudi citizen in the Hormala Governorate, Saudi Arabia, on the morning of last July 27, are scheduled to return to the land of Egypt on August 6.

He stressed that the consulate general in Riyadh had, immediately after the accident, dispatched two legal advisors to the mission to the district of Huraymila, where they met with the police officials who had started the investigation, and the director of the Huraymala General Hospital, and the relatives of the deceased to find out the circumstances of the accident and the investigations conducted by the Saudi authorities.

He also indicated that the Egyptian consulate in Riyadh reported that the perpetrator was currently in the hands of justice, and that procedures for referring him to the Public Prosecution in the governorate were underway, and the bodies of the two dead people had been deposited in the General Hospital in Huraymila Governorate.
