The "Roald Amundsen" is owned by the Norwegian company Hurtigruten. Norwegian health officials stated that 36 of the 158 crew members of the cruise ship Roald Amundsen were infected. However, the 178 passengers on the cruise ship have been allowed to go ashore, making it very difficult for the authorities to track down. The cruise ship has carried a total of 387 passengers since July 17, and 4 passengers have been diagnosed.

Currently, the Norwegian authorities are determining the location of passengers and informing them to self-quarantine. The senior director of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health said that the number of confirmed passengers is expected to increase.

During the voyage of the "Paul Gauguin" cruise ship in the Pacific Ocean, a 22-year-old American passenger was found to have tested positive for the new crown virus and returned immediately. A spokesperson for the company said that the asymptomatic infected person had disembarked and received quarantine. At present, other passengers are staying on the ship for isolation and observation, and the number of passengers is currently unknown.

Prior to this, a total of 10 crew members of the two cruise ships of Aida Cruises "AIDAblu" and "AIDAmar" tested positive for the new crown. It is reported that these crew members received preventive tests when they boarded the ship in Germany and received positive results during isolation. At present, these crew members have been removed from the ship.
