The drama in Saint-Ouen. A man, in his thirties, died on Sunday after being deliberately struck by a van whose driver had fled, sources close to him learned on Monday.

The facts took place on Sunday shortly after 10 a.m. near the Saint-Ouen Flea Market (Seine-Saint-Denis). According to several witnesses, a van, driving at high speed, came out of a dead end with a man hanging on the hood, indicates a police source.

"The driver was trying to get the victim to let go"

"By swerving and the percussion of parked vehicles, the driver sought to let go of the victim and reached it 400 meters further", continues this source.

When help arrived, the victim was in cardio-respiratory arrest and died shortly after. A license plate could be found, indicates a nearby source. The murder investigation was entrusted to the judicial police of the department.
