This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the company's statement.

“After the study of the official decision of UOKiK is completed, PJSC Gazprom will take measures to protect its interests, including appealing the decision in court, where UOKiK will need to prove the viability of its position,” Gazprom said.

The company noted that the fine will not be collected while it is being appealed and until the entry into force of the relevant court decision.

Earlier, the Polish antimonopoly regulator UOKiK fined Gazprom for “unwillingness to cooperate” with it in the investigation of the Nord Stream 2 project.

In early June, UOKiK opened a case against Gazprom for lack of cooperation in the course of the antitrust investigation.
