According to Alla Bout, she last spoke with her husband more than a week ago.
"Now contact with him has disappeared, although the rules of the order of the Marion prison in Illinois, where he is, are allowed to call the convict twice a week," Alla Booth said.
She added that the conditions of detention of Victor Bout worsened after 35 prisoners from Chicago with coronavirus were sent to the Marion prison.

In June, the ombudsman for human rights in Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova, said that the issue of returning the Russians Viktor Bout and Konstantin Yaroshenko, convicted to the United States, was being discussed.
