  According to the Paraná State Fire Department, the accident site was 77 kilometers away from the national highway No. 277 in the Sao Jose dos Pinhais area of ​​the metropolitan city of Curitiba. At around 22:30 on the evening of the 2nd, two cars collided on this section of the road. When a truck behind tried to avoid the colliding car, it ran into another car parked on the side of the road.
