Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi dismissed a senior officer after social media pioneers shared a video showing members of the law enforcement forces surrounding a boy sitting on the ground completely naked, while one of the soldiers cuts the boy's hair and insults him with insults, which sparked great anger in the Iraqi street and demands Accounting the perpetrators.

The military personnel, according to the video that the Iraqi authorities indicated was not new, were interrogating the boy about whether he had thrown grenades at the security forces.

Immediately after the circulation of the video, Al-Kazemi ordered the dismissal of the commander of the law enforcement forces, Major General Saad Khalaf Badr, from his post, hours after the start of the investigation into this incident.

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that the leadership to maintain order, which was supposed to have been developed to strengthen the rule of law, preserve human dignity and combat all unlawful appearances, was also reconsidered after a leadership and control failure was established by the commander of law enforcement forces.

The statement stated that the investigations showed that the person who appeared in the video and signed the attack was arrested by the Directorate of Anti-Crime of Baghdad in accordance with the law last May, for stealing a motorbike according to the decision of the Rusafa Court Investigation Judge (in Baghdad), and he was assaulted by law enforcement personnel .

He continued, "The identity of the perpetrators of this criminal act (whom he did not name) has been identified, and the work teams have begun procedures for arresting and detaining them to complete the investigation with them, and taking the necessary legal measures to complete the investigation in full picture and presenting the results to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces."
