It is noted that the message about malfunctions on the ship was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations late on Saturday evening, August 1. The fishing kungas at that moment was four kilometers from the coast.
“Due to the loss of speed, the vessel was carried off to the open sea - at the time of the accident, there was a strong squeezing wind,” the message says.
According to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the kungas was found in Parusnaya Bay 30 km north of the village of Reidovo at about 03:20 local time.
“The towing of the boat ended at 06:03: all seven people on board the kungas were taken to the village of Reidovo. The rescued did not need medical assistance, ”the ministry said.
