Israeli authorities approved the appointment of Alexander Ben-Zvi as Ambassador to Russia

This was reported to RIA Novosti in the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

“The appointment of Alexander Ben-Zvi as ambassador to Russia was approved today by the government of Israel,” they noted.

Yakov Livne currently holds the post of Israel's Charge d'Affaires in Russia.

Earlier, Israel chose a candidate for the post of ambassador to Russia.
