Polish striker Robert Lewandowski was associated with the move to Real Madrid on many occasions, but that news did not exceed the level of the rumor without evidence of official contacts, which changed today with the disclosure of a contract placed in the player's hands years ago.

Onet Sport revealed photos of the contract that Real Madrid presented to Lewandowski on December 9, 2013, when the player was with Borussia Dortmund.

The 6-page contract stipulated that Lewandowski received a signature reward of 10.9 million euros because he would have left Borussia Dortmund free of charge at the end of that season, with a salary of 8.6 million euros annually until 2020, in addition to a penal clause to rescind the contract of 150 million euros. .

The contract included the player waiving 50% of his image marketing rights, in addition to a number of other rewards.

The contract stipulated some activities that the Polish striker would not be allowed to engage in if he joined the royal club, such as riding a motorcycle, skiing, paragliding and climbing.

Lewandowski was in the stage of choosing his future destination after starring in the ranks of Borussia Dortmund, and in the end he preferred to sign with Bayern Munich because he had given them oral approval before the arrival of the royal club offer.

The Polish striker scored 242 goals in 285 games for Bayern Munich, and crowned several titles with the Bavarian club, but he did not win the Champions League title, a title that would have been celebrated repeatedly if he moved to Real Madrid.
