The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released the analysis by revealing that hundreds of children at a summer camp in Georgia on June 31 (local time) were infected with Corona 19.
As a result of conducting a corona test on 597 people who participated in this summer camp, 260 of the 344 people who received the final results were judged positive.
74% of children who had a positive judgment complained of mild symptoms such as fever, headache, and sore throat, but the rest showed no symptoms.
This summer camp was attended by 363 people between the ages of 6 and 19. On June 23, a teenage employee left the camp feeling chilled from the evening before, and the next day he was tested for corona19 and positive.
The organizers immediately disbanded the camp and closed the campsite.
The camp organizers carried out a Georgia administrative order to ensure that only children who had a negative score at the pre-Corona 19 prosecution attended the camp, but did not follow CDC's recommendation to wear a mask.
"Corona 19 quickly spread at night events with a lot of youth," said the CDC. "Evidence that children of all ages are vulnerable to Corona 19 infection and may play an important role in transmission unlike the earlier reports."
