He recalled that Ukraine has a consulate general in Rostov-on-Don.

At the same time, he stated that “it would be politically correct” to break off relations with Russia in 2014, but “legally, from the point of view of protecting the interests of its citizens, it would be a mistake”.

The minister believes that the current configuration of diplomatic relations with Russia is "the most balanced and effective."
