Iran announced today, Saturday, the arrest of the leader of the United States-based "terrorist group", accusing it of being behind attacks in Iran.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Intelligence and Security said that Jamsheed Sharhdhd, the leader of the "Tender" organization, could be arrested and said that he was conducting armed operations against Iran from the United States.

However, the Ministry of Intelligence statement did not provide details about the detention in terms of time, place or how.

For its part, Tender did not confirm the arrest report. In response to what she described as reports of Sharmhad's "kidnapping", the organization said on its website that it had not confirmed the authenticity of "the accounts reported by various networks."

In a previous post on social media, the organization said it would continue to "struggle even in the absence of a leader."
