The Belgian Wout Van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) won on Saturday in Siena (central Italy) the 14th edition of the Strade Bianche, a race contested over 184 kilometers in Tuscany, which marked the resumption of the World Tour after more than five months interruption due to coronavirus.

Van Aert, who had finished third in the last two editions of the event, was the strongest on the gravel paths and in Piazza del Campo in Siena was ahead of the Italian Davide Formolo (UAE Emirates) and the German Maximilian Schachmann (Bora-Hansgrohe).
