An American 17-year-old boy was caught hacking celebrity Twitter accounts, including former President Obama and Microsoft founder Bill Gates (MS).

US prosecutors arrested and prosecuted Graham Ivern Clark, Tampa, Florida.

Prosecutors also arrested Niema Perzelly (22) and British Mason Shepherd (19) from Orlando, Florida, who joined Clark's hacking crimes.

They are accused of hacking 130 Twitter accounts on the 15th and using them for bitcoin fraud.

They especially steal celebrity Twitter accounts and post a message saying'If you send $1,000 (approximately 1.2 million won) to Bitcoin, you will double the money within 30 minutes' and then deposit $100,000 (100 million won) into your account. The US prosecutors said they intercepted Bitcoin worth 19 million won.

The celebrities whose accounts were breached by their hacking include former President Obama, former Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Michael Bloomberg former New York Mayor, Warren Buffett Berkshire Hathaway President, Billionaire rapper Katya is West and West's wife Kim Kardashian.

Prior to the prosecution's announcement, Twitter revealed that hackers had identified a spear phishing attack by calling certain employees with internal network management authority to steal information.

Spear phishing is a hacking technique aimed at a specific person or group, and it is common practice to send an email with a malicious program attached to it, but this time, it is characterized by using a telephone.

According to Twitter, the hacker hacked 130 accounts using the access he gained by spear phishing on the phone, stealing 45 of them and composing a bitcoin fraud message.
