Two cars in a collision in Östra Göinge - 62-year-old died

The accident, where two cars collided at an intersection, happened just before 1 pm on Friday between Hjärsås and Sibbhult.

- The police are still at the scene and there is limited traffic, says Jimmy Modin, press spokesperson at the police region South.

In connection with the traffic accident, one driver, a 62-year-old man, died. The other driver, a 25-year-old woman, was taken to hospital by ambulance. According to Region Skåne, she has life-threatening injuries.

Relatives have been notified of the incident.
