“On suspicion of committing ... a crime, the wife of the victim born in 1984 was detained,” the statement of the St. Petersburg Department of the Investigative Committee says.
The investigation will petition the court to take her into custody.
The investigation initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia (murder) upon the discovery of fragments of the body and limbs of a man born in 1989 in the evening of July 29, 2020 in an apartment of one of the houses on Nevsky Prospect.
Earlier, the wife said that her husband died four days ago, probably from a drug overdose.
The source kp.ru, citing the testimony of the rapper's wife, said that "she wanted to make his death look like he was missing." According to her, she did it "out of great love, because she did not want a shameful memory for her husband."
