At 00.37, the police were alerted to Stora torget in Uppsala. A man in his 20s had been stabbed in the chest, not far from the heart.
He has been taken by ambulance to hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening. A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has begun.
- The man has stated that he was stabbed by three unknown perpetrators. But we have no suspects, says police RLC officer Joel Manner.
