It is noted that the investigators have established direct eyewitnesses to the crimes of the fascists. The eyewitnesses were interrogated, thanks to which the historical facts "dryly stated in the official papers of those years" were supplemented.

Among other things, a 93-year-old resident of the village of Peregruznoe in the Oktyabrsky District said that as a teenager she saw a German truck, “where the Nazis forcibly imprisoned persons of Jewish nationality, who, fleeing the war, had arrived in her settlement shortly before”.

The bodies of the executed were found by local residents a kilometer from the neighboring village. The investigative-operational group also went there.

The message says that the remains of the bodies of thirteen dead have already been recovered.

"The investigative action on the outskirts of the village of Vodino will be completed when 43 refugees are raised, including 19 children, information about which is contained in the commission's act of 1942," the UK said.

The investigators will order a series of forensic examinations.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the fact of the genocide of the inhabitants of Stalingrad by the Nazis in 1942-1943.
