133 observers from the CIS were accredited, including 34 from the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS. Also 22 observers from the diplomatic corps are accredited.
The previous presidential elections in Belarus in 2015 were observed by 928 international observers, including 344 from the OSCE / ODIHR.
Earlier, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly announced that due to the epidemiological situation it would not be able to send its observers to the presidential elections in Belarus in August 2020.
