"My approach is to highlight the homeless people who populate the sidewalks of our cities, regardless of where we live. I live in Évreux. Self-giving is priceless and by an action, we can bring them kindness, a smile, comfort. Me, it is through the hairstyle that I try to bring them a capillary well-being, a moment of exchange. light of these people so that we then avoid passing in front of them by looking down.

" I wanted to put my scissors at his service "

Fifteen years ago, I was a hairdresser for the cinema. For a feature film, we had to shoot a scene with homeless people, who inevitably were extras. Luckily, at the foot of Notre-Dame de Paris, a homeless man came to us and opened his heart to us. He told us about his life and the misfortunes that led him to sleep in the street. I wanted to put my scissors at his service. A relationship was formed in fifteen years. We often talk over the phone.

When I returned to live in Évreux a year and a half ago, I was keen to bring some well-being to these people. Now, I am no longer a hairdresser, I am responsible for a clothing store in the city center and I am elected to the municipality of Évreux. I find that everything can be linked. We are at the service of people whoever they are. Everyone who lives in our city is very important to me.

The city is well made for the homeless. There are a lot of structures and food raids are put in place every day. The homeless are also hiding, so you really have to go out and meet them, you can't close your eyes. These are people who find it very difficult to ask for help. I do this on a voluntary basis. When I returned to Évreux, I found it to be a city of heart. I am fortunate to have the most beautiful outdoor hair salons. "
