On Thursday, a Strasbourg police officer killed himself when he was not on duty, the Bas-Rhin police said on his Twitter account. According to our colleagues from DNA , his gesture was not related to his professional activity.

He chose to leave us yesterday, leaving us all in the dark and in disarray," wrote the Bas-Rhin national police in a tweet posted this Friday morning . According to DNA, the civil servant, assigned to the Strasbourg BST (specialized field brigade), was single and had no children. “He will be sorely missed, we pay tribute to him. Our thoughts are with his loved ones and his family, ”added the Bas-Rhin police.
