On Friday, the verdict fell against the key people in the big drug scandal that is said to have included drugs to a street value of SEK 112 million. Of the fifteen accused, fourteen are sentenced.

- I think it is sad that they come to that conclusion, there were many circumstances and objections on our part that I think the court should have taken into account, says David Breitfeld.

"Understood in retrospect that it was about drugs"

He finds it surprising that the court disregarded these. Among other things, this means that the woman believes that she was not part of the smuggling crime.

- She denies the crime but admits certain circumstances. She has admitted that there were things in her home that she now understood afterwards could have been drugs, says David Breitfeld.

- I will talk to my client but it is not impossible that there will be an appeal.

Detained since October 2018

The woman has been in custody for almost two years.

- It has been very, very, very difficult for her. This arrest has hit her extremely hard. Two years' imprisonment before finding out the result is not acceptable, says David Breitfeld.
