Research resumed this Friday morning on Lake Saint-Ferréol, located straddling the departments of Tarn, Haute-Garonne and Aude. Since Thursday afternoon, a man in his sixties has been missing there, reports France 3 Occitanie. He would have drowned.
According to the director of the leisure center, the man tried to cross the lake outside the supervised swimming area. He would have found himself in difficulty in the middle of the body of water and would have even called for help.
Significant means of aid were engaged to try to find this man. He had come to spend the day at the lake with his partner. In shock, she was taken care of by firefighters, says La Dépêche du Midi.
