"Ukraine will insist on the extradition of persons involved in war crimes in the temporarily occupied territory and in respect of which the Security Service of Ukraine has collected enough evidence," - said in a statement Zelensky office.

On July 29, the state Belarusian news agency BelTA announced the arrest of 33 Russians in Belarus. July 30 it became known that the detainees are suspected of preparing riots.

After that, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that the country's law enforcement agencies may request the extradition of the detainees.

As noted by the Russian ambassador Dmitry Mezentsev, Russia expects from Belarus evidence confirming the validity of the detention of Russian citizens.
