Narcoleptic thieves? Tuesday, police officers intervened in a home in Faches-Thumesnil, near Lille, in the North, for a suspicion of theft and break-in. The officers did not have to search far to locate the suspects, who were still at the scene.

Around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the owner of this house located rue de Guingamp, in Faches-Thumesnil, contacted the police after noting the break-in of her home. Once there, the officers did notice that the door leading to the garden had indeed been forced open.

Quietly asleep upstairs

Still in the company of the owner, the police went around the house to secure the premises and check that the thieves were no longer on the spot. It was to everyone's surprise that the officials found two men sleeping quietly on the second floor of the house.

The two strangers, aged 15 and 24, were arrested. On one of them, the police discovered a piece of jewelry belonging to the owner of the house. They were taken into police custody for "theft in a meeting".
