Turkey and the United States held military exercises in the Mediterranean

"The naval military exercises were held on July 28 in the central and eastern Mediterranean with the participation of the Turkish frigate Kemalreis and the US aircraft carrier Eisenhower," the Turkish defense ministry said in a tweet.

Earlier it was reported that the frigate of the Black Sea Fleet "Admiral Makarov" held an air defense exercise in the Mediterranean Sea.

The frigate "Admiral Makarov" has been performing tasks as part of the permanent grouping of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea since June this year.
