The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission hit another "tiger" in July.

  The website of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection issued a news at 9 pm on July 29: Li Jinzao, deputy secretary and deputy minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

  According to the public resume, Li Jinzao, born in January 1958 in Xiantao, Hubei, joined the Party in February 1976, started work in December 1978, and is a PhD student in economics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Li Jin worked in the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance and the State Planning Commission in his early years.

  Li Jin went to Guangxi early in 1994 and served as the deputy mayor, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, executive deputy mayor, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and mayor of Guilin City. Since October 2001, Li Jinzao has served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In November of the same year, he concurrently served as Secretary of the Guilin Municipal Committee and Mayor. Yue also serves as Director of Guangxi International Expo Affairs Bureau and Party Secretary. In January 2008, Li Jinzao served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, deputy secretary of the Party group of the autonomous region government, and executive vice chairman.

  As early as October 2011, Li Jin served as Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and member of the Party Leadership Group. In October 2014, he served as Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the National Tourism Administration. In March 2018, he served as Deputy Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He is also a representative of the 16th, 17th, and 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, a representative of the 9th, 10th, and 11th National People's Congress, and a standing member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

  Official information shows that nine central management cadres have been investigated this year.

  Previously, Zhang Zhinan, member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Vice Governor, Sun Lijun, member of the Party Committee and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Public Security, Zhang He, former member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Vice Governor, and Hu Wenming, former Party Secretary and Chairman of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, Xinjiang Ren Hua, Vice Chairman of the Uyghur Autonomous Region Government, Deng Huilin, Vice Mayor of Chongqing City and Director of the Public Security Bureau, Wang Yong, Vice Chairman of the Hainan Provincial CPPCC, and Liu Guoqiang, former Vice Chairman of the Liaoning Provincial CPPCC, were down.
