The head of the Investigating Court Number 32 of Madrid has issued this Wednesday the provisional dismissal of the open case against the purged lawyer of Podemos, José Manuel Calvente, for sexual harassment.
As legal sources advance to EL MUNDO, the magistrate Rosa María Freire has agreed to file the procedure as she did not see evidence of crime in the action of the former coordinator of the legal team of the formation of Pablo Iglesias.
The lawyer for Podemos and former lawyer for Iglesias, Marta Flor, sued Calvente for the crimes of harassment, workplace harassment, sexual harassment and injuries. The Madrid Prosecutor's Office asked the instructor on July 22 to decree the case file after having heard both the complainant and the defendant in court.
Precisely, this Wednesday the lawyer José Manuel Calvente has been summoned to testify by another Madrid court for the alleged irregular financing of Podemos.
