BelTA informs that Lukashenka has convened an urgent meeting with members of the Security Council.

“I invited you in order to deal with this, one might say, an emergency that happened tonight. You cannot name it otherwise, ”Lukashenka said and asked the head of the KGB, Valeriy Vakulchik, to report in detail on the situation.

According to Lukashenko, it is necessary to immediately apply to the relevant structures of Russia to explain what is happening there.

At the same time, the Belarusian leader noted that Minsk “has no goals to discredit the close country”.

Earlier, the state Belarusian agency BelTA announced the detention of 33 Russians in Belarus. Russian Ambassador to Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev commented on this information.
