China News Service, July 29. According to a report by the Japanese "Chinese Herald", on July 28 local time, the Osaka police in Japan confirmed that a Chinese female drowned and died in the Yodo River, Osaka. She jumped down the Yodo River on the 23rd to save her son who fell into the water. On the 27th, the police found her body.

At around 2 pm on July 23, a Chinese woman (42 years old) living in Osaka played with her 9-year-old son by the river. The fourth-grade son of elementary school fell into the water by the river because of a slip on his feet and fell into the Yodo River. When his mother saw this, she immediately jumped into the river to save her son, but was washed away by the river until the afternoon of the 27th. The police found the body about 5 kilometers downstream.

After falling into the water that day, the woman's son swam to the shore by his own water and climbed onto it. He told the police: "I slipped and fell into the river. Mom came to rescue me."

According to insiders, many ambulances came by the river at that time, and the boy climbed ashore on his own and was taken to the hospital. The police have been looking for his mother since then. The body was not found until the 27th.

Japanese netizens expressed sympathy for the news and wrote in the comments: "It is a good thing for a son to be saved, but the result is too sad. I hope this child will live well in the future for the sake of his mother."

"As a mother, I understand the behavior of saving her son without hesitation when she sees her son falling into the water. My mother must have never thought about whether she would be drowned. She was eager to save her son in an instant. Although it is regrettable that her mother was not saved, but I also hope that this child will not blame himself for this, keep his mother's love in mind, and live strong. Because the mother must be at ease for her son being saved in heaven."

"Now I only hope that the child will not blame himself for being autistic, but believe that his mother wants him to live well." (Xia An)
