American company Modena, which is considered to be ahead of the competition to develop corona vaccines, has also performed in monkey experiments, Bloomberg News reported.

The company's corona vaccine was dosed twice to each of 16 monkeys, resulting in a minimum of 16 antibodies.

Rather, the side effects of antibodies helping the virus to penetrate did not appear.

The findings were published in the New England Journal of Medicine, an international journal.

Normally, animal testing is conducted prior to human clinical trials, but Modena is conducting animal trials at the same time as clinical trials.

Modena announced yesterday (28th) that he had entered a phase 3 clinical trial, the final stage of vaccine development, against 30,000 people.
