According to the interlocutor, Kamilov entered into correspondence with his fellow countryman Nurmukhammad Nurmatov and convinced him to go to Syria to participate in the activities of IS. Kamilov transferred money to Nurmatov to buy an air ticket, after which he went to Turkey, and from there he subsequently moved to the SAR. A criminal case was initiated against Nurmatov under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code.

The source also said that Kamilov lived on the territory of St. Petersburg in an apartment with several citizens of Tajikistan. According to reports, they also intended to leave Russian territory to join the ranks of IS.

At the same time, the interlocutor said, before leaving, they planned to give an "oath" to terrorists by committing a robbery on employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the National Guard, and in case of failure, they considered the option of killing civilians.

Earlier, terrorist recruiters were detained in Kaliningrad.
