The widow of the ex-head of Chuvashia appealed against the termination of proceedings on his claim

“The court received a private complaint from Larisa Ignatieva, which contested the termination of proceedings on the claim of Mikhail Ignatiev to challenge the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of January 29, 2020“ On the early termination of the powers of the head of the Chuvash Republic, ”the source said.

The corresponding hearing is scheduled for September 15th.

Earlier, the Supreme Court terminated proceedings on the claim of the ex-head of Chuvashia.

On January 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree terminating the powers of the head of Chuvashia, Ignatiev, in connection with the loss of confidence. In turn, Ignatiev decided to appeal to the Supreme Court to challenge the order of the Russian president to dismiss him.

On June 18, it became known about the death of Ignatiev. According to doctors, he died of progressive cardiovascular failure on the background of bilateral pneumonia.
