The National Assembly's Intelligence Committee adopted a progress report on personnel hearings on candidate Park Ji-won.

The agency said that it had voted on a hearing report at the closed-out general meeting today (28th), as well as Democratic Party secretary Kim Byung-ki.

The members of the future unification party concluded that candidate Park was unsuitable as the head of the National Intelligence Service and did not attend the report.

Previously, the United Party requested the appointment of President Moon Jae-in for Park's 2000 inter-Korean summit due to suspicion of a back-end agreement related to North Korea remittance and suspicion of counterfeiting.
