China News Service, July 28. According to the "Philippine Business Daily" report, the Philippine Chinese Writers Association recently held a general election and elected the first vice president Yimin to be promoted to the 13th president.

  Zhang Weishun, whose pen name is Yimin, is from Zhanglin Township, Jinjiang City, Fujian Province. Served as a columnist for "World Journal", one of the chief editors of "Philippine Chinese Literature", and chairman of the Alumni Association of Quanzhou No. 1 Middle School in the Philippines. He is currently the Vice President of the Philippine Chinese Writers Association, and a director of the Quanzhou No. 1 Middle School Board of Trustees.

  Yimin became a member of the association in 2002 and was elected as the vice president in 2004. Since then, he has represented the Philippine Chinese Writers Association in many international conferences on Chinese literature.
