Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner and Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas have confirmed the birth of their first daughter in Los Angeles.

"Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby," Turner's representative told CNN and People magazine in a statement , but did not elaborate on the news.

According to the specialized media TMZ, the actress gave birth last Wednesday in a California hospital to a girl named Willa .

Followers of both artists learned of the pregnancy when photos of the couple strolling through Los Angeles this spring came to light after they both married in Las Vegas last year .

"The couple are taking the time to enjoy this special moment and have only shared the news and updates with family and friends," said a source close to Entertainment Tonight magazine .

Jonas and Turner secretly married on May 1 of last year in one of the famous Las Vegas wedding chapels, after participating in the Billboard Music Awards . A month later they celebrated a wedding with their family and friends in the south of France.
