Intesa-Ubi: offer has already collected 71.908%

Intesa Sanpaolo's Opas on Ubi Banca has today received shares equal to 71.90% of the capital of the Bergamo bank, compared to 43.48% communicated yesterday by Borsa Italiana. The two-thirds threshold is thus exceeded, which will allow the merger between the two institutions to be accelerated. This was the maximum objective of the offer in Intesa Sanpaolo's intentions. The Opas will close on Thursday.
