The Omani News Agency published a statement from the wife of the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq bin Saeed.
According to the statement published by the Oman News Agency on her official account on "Twitter", the Sultan's wife congratulated the sons of Oman and residents on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
The Majesty said: "The Honorable Lady, the sanctuary of Jalal Sultan Al-Muazzam, kindly sent congratulations and blessings to the faithful sons and daughters of Oman on their kind lands, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha for this year 1443."
The statement continued: "God Almighty called for restoring them to them with abundant health, wellness and long life, and for the entire Islamic nation, with good, Yemen and blessings."
The statement indicated that the Sultan's wife sent telegrams to the wives of the kings, leaders of sister and friendly countries, and a number of international personalities on this occasion.
The statement said: "I guaranteed her (the telegrams) sincere congratulations and sincere wishes for them with good health, happiness and long life."
