Tragedy in Begur (Girona) after an 8-year-old girl died this afternoon after falling from the boat with which she was sailing with her family and that it passed over her causing her fatal injuries.
The unfortunate accident, as confirmed by the Civil Guard to this newspaper, has occurred around seven in the afternoon in the cove Sa Tuna. The Benemérita Provincial Maritime Service and a patrol from the Palamós corps have moved to the scene, as well as members of the Emergency Medical System (SEM) who have failed to stabilize the minor who has died.
After that, the body has been transferred to land from the cove of Aiguafreda. Currently, members of the Judicial Police and the Special Group for Underwater Activities of the Civil Guard have begun the pertinent investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident.
