the 18th, at 2 AM, the young man gets off when a taxi stands.

This is Kim Mo, in her 20s who defected three years ago and then came back to North Korea.

This is a CCTV video installed near Yeonmijeong, a pavilion on the northeast coast of Ganghwa Island.

Military and police estimate that Mr. Kim departed near Yeonmijeong and swam to North Korea.

In the northern part of Ganghwa Island, which borders North Korea, there is a military barrier fence.

The land over the Han River is North Korea, but the distance is only 3 km.

As it is an iron fence equipped with scientific alert equipment, the guard can know immediately if the iron fence is touched.

Military authorities estimate that the North Korean defectors did not cross the border railroad, but went through a drainage channel under the railroad and headed north.

In fact, in the vicinity of the ditch, Mr. Kim's bag was found.

[Kim Jun-rak/Head of Public Affairs, Joint Chiefs of Staff: We have found and confirmed an abandoned bag that can identify the person, and we are under scrutiny.] The

bag contained water glasses and clothes, a passbook, and a currency exchange receipt.

Military authorities did not recognize Kim's North Korea facts for more than a week until North Korea made public reports yesterday (26th).

From last year's defection of wooden ships to smuggling into Taean this year, the military said it would take measures to prevent recurrence every time a military boundary was breached.
