The Moscow Prosecutor's Office began checking due to smoke in the SIZO No. 6

“The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office organized an inspection of compliance with fire safety legislation in connection with the incident in the FKU SIZO No. 6 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in Moscow,” the statement says.

Based on the results of the check, if there are grounds, the issue of taking measures of the prosecutor's response will be considered.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that there was a fire in the capital's remand prison No. 6. It has already been localized by now.
