"The leaders also noted that there is no alternative to the political and diplomatic settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of the principles of international law in the interests of the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan," the Kremlin said.

During the conversation, Putin and Erdogan also touched upon some topical issues on the bilateral agenda. They praised the cooperation in the fight against coronavirus, which made it possible "to make a decision on the partial resumption of regular flights between a number of Russian and Turkish cities from August 1."
