Over the past day, 5635 new cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19 were detected in 84 regions of Russia. According to the headquarters, 24.9% of new patients had no clinical manifestations of the virus.

The number of regions where the largest number of new cases was detected per day included Moscow (694), Sverdlovsk (252) and Nizhny Novgorod (188) regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (188), St. Petersburg (172), Irkutsk region (165) , Krasnoyarsk Territory (162).

Moscow remains the leader in the country in terms of the number of detected cases (238 641). The capital's health department noted that the increase in new cases is at a low level since early July.

“Over the month, the number of new cases has decreased by 7.5%. 49.3% of new cases are people aged 18 to 45 years, 30.7% - from 46 to 65 years old, 8.8% - from 66 to 79 years old, another 3.9% - over 80 years old. Also, 7.3% of the sick are children, ”the message says.

Removing restrictions

From Monday, July 27, a number of restrictions introduced due to the COVID-19 epidemic will be lifted in St. Petersburg. Thus, shopping centers, catering establishments, kindergartens and travel agencies will resume their work in the city. Restrictions on guided tours and activities of private museums and exhibition halls are also lifted.

In the Republic of Khakassia, the regime of restrictive measures was extended until August 9, however, catering facilities and non-food stores were allowed to resume work.

In the Kamchatka Territory, a municipal bus service is reopening, tourists with negative tests for COVID-19 are allowed to enter. Meanwhile, until August 9, the regime of self-isolation and mask regime remains, as well as a ban on holding mass events.
